Barbarella is a half Italian London based singer. She has established a reputation for stunning, sensual and intense shows with her band Barbarella’s Bang Bang, who formed in the queer and underground scene of South East London. Now she has teamed up with producer Dave Randall (Faithless) to record her debut solo album to be released in 2023.
Live-techno/house project of jazz-drummer Hannes Dunker (Evelyn Kryger) and producer Buddy Meyerholz (SYMBIZ). Based on an improvisational concept and with the use of self-made controllers, custom programmed software and electronic & acoustic drums, the Berlin-based duo creates a hypnotic, always danceable technoid sound. Beat-oriented, synth-heavy, analogue sounding, dusty; with soundscapes, bit-crusher and arpeggiator; filters, rooms and polyrhythms.
